It is beginning to look more and more like Christmas. And I'm finally going to finish this ornament, just need to pick up a shade of dmc to finish the bow and finish it. It was done in Soie D'Alger Silk, for the cardinal, impressions for the birdhouse, Mandarin floss which is made of 100% bamboo, and Needle Necessities for the holly. There are padded satin stitches, basket weave for the background, Gobelin for the Cardinal and Watercolours, and finally overdyed/varigated floss.I took the class in early 2006 at Needle Orts in Altamonte Springs, and yes I am just getting around to finish it and nope not quite done yet.
Then on to the finishing . Then its the Dragon Dreams Santa's surprise from Just Cross Stitch Christmas 2006 issue, that one's about 75% done so far.Hope to post more later bye

Went to a signing this weekend at Borders. I had gone in to just pick up something new to read, and was lucky enough to meet an author. Jana G. Oliver and get her to sign Sojourn her time travel novel, it takes place in Victorian England, and in 2057.
All around great story that I honestly can not put down, reading it at any opportunity.
